Building Relationships with the 'Invisible' across the INWA Grid

Access to products, services and government increasingly relies on ICT, making it both enabler and barrier in the Digital Economy. As markets globalise, those whose needs are not met by current products cannot be tracked by monitoring consumption, and risk becoming 'invisible'. This is not good for industry seeking to grow new markets, nor society, where inclusiveness is served by understanding needs better.

This talk describes the use of the INWA Grid in a RCUK 'Design in the Digital Economy' project that aligns both sets of needs - building a 'bridge' from technologically excluded users to the capabilities of suppliers.
