Integrating a videoconference system in a university portal

UPMC and Caltech have been working together to integrate EVO (a real time collaboration technology) in a university portal (uPortal technology) to offer a videoconferencing service to all the academic community. An extension named EVO-learning has been developed where a distinction is made between students and instructors. Instructors possess full rights: they can make a reservation, start a conference, organize the discussion giving the word to a participant as well as control the full exchanges. Students have limited rights to avoid conflicts
During the presentation we will demonstrate in real time the main features of this system.
