Baiba Kaškina

Baiba Kaskina is the General Manager of SigmaNet (Latvian NREN) and a Researcher at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Latvia.
Besides the administrative functions, Baiba is involved in the GEANT3 and BalticGrid-II projects, leads the CERT NIC.LV team as well as contributes to several other projects and areas. She is the member of the TNC 2010 Programme Committee.
Baiba holds a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Latvia.
In her spare time, she enjoys orienteering sport, photography and traveling.
