Janne Kanner

Janne holds a MSc in mathematics and has been working on research and education networking at CSC-IT Center for Science Ltd. for ten years. He has been the director of the Funet network since 2004 and a member of the NORDUnet A/S Board for five years, and is currently the chairman. He is also a member of the Board for a Finnish network and IT company, Otaverkko Oy. With TERENA Janne has participated in task forces, the TNC Programme Committee, and he represents Finland in the General Assembly. He was elected as the president of TERENA in June 2009.
