Nerija Putinaitė

Nerija graduated philosophy studies in Vilnius University Faculty of Philosophy, bachelor and master degree. From 1996 to 2000 has studied in Lithuanian philosophy and sociology institute (now KFMI) doctoral studies, defended doctoral thesis „Justice in Immanuel Kant‘s philosophy“. Has had internship in Marburg, Greifswald, Tubingen (Germany) and Poitiers (France) universities. Docent at Vilnius Pedagogical University Faculty of Ethics, officer at Group of culture, science and education under the President institution. From 17 December 2010 – Lithuanian education and science vice minister.
Has published articles of ethics, history of philosophy and social topics.
